Our lives are entwined with the saplings we nurture. We obsess over tea
much like tea connoisseurs do. Of course, we take great pride in the tea
we produce. We want to be the preferred destination for fine-quality teas
the world over.
Chairman, Madhuting Tea Estate
Madhuting has brought up tea plants from the time they were planted. We have produced the finest quality teas that have set benchmarks in tea trade circles and consumers alike.
Our goal hasn’t changed in the last 80 years!
Years of Experience
Chairman, Madhuting Tea Estate
Building this company has been nothing short of an exhilarating adventure. To me, it was like nurturing a young sapling to full growth. Over decades, I have seen innumerable changes – some which helped us grow, others that taught us to endure and shift gears. But this company has endured and grown immeasurably. Today, we are a strong, united group of like-minded experts, moving towards one unwavering goal – to produce the finest quality teas.
Over the decades, we have ceaselessly modernized, in keeping with the times. We have never lost sight of the fact that tea bushes are a vital part of the environment. We have spared no measures in adopting earth-friendly measures.
In truth, over time, we have built a legacy. One that values customer satisfaction, is uncompromising in quality standards, and stands firm on strong ethical grounds. We see this reflected in our customers, suppliers, buyers and connoisseurs from the world over.
Our faith, belief and extraordinary capabilities have allowed us to present you the finest teas to grace your cups. One that I hope will continue to cheer in the future.
The year was 1938 when the first tea sapling took root, heralding a glorious journey of producing the most aromatic, full bodied Assam teas. Today, the world recognizes Madhuting for its quality teas, swirling in kettles everywhere.
On November 21, 2022, Madhuting acquired Hatimara Tea Estate from Warren Tea Limited. Hatimara is a fully clonal tea estate with its own tea factory. The rich teas from the estate have graced the cups of discerning tea buyers and enjoy a sterling reputation across the globe.
We being, a sister concern of the renowned Dhunseri Tea and Industries Ltd., Madhuting was brought into our fold from Barua&Co. Steeped in tradition and propelled by modern operations, research and technology, we are now synonymous with teas that inspire joy and warmth in millions.
We maintain a high safety standard for all sections of employees. We go the extra mile in creating a healthy working environment. We care about their individual development and make sure they enjoy a good quality of life.
We improve the quality of life of our workers and the communities through various awareness programs.
We take responsibility for our communities and environments and pride ourselves in going beyond our statutory duty as an employer. Our estates employ socially underprivileged tribes from all over and provide them with multiple benefits like subsidised rations, medical, schooling, firewood and others.
As good corporate citizens, we provide equal opportunity to all employees, in a safe and healthy working environment, ensuring social and economic development to sustain and improve the quality of life.

Orthodox teas leaves are the traditional produce with long leaf and flavoury, where milk need not be added to savour the flavour.
CTC (Crush, Tear & Curl) teas are granular with stronger malty liquors, which also give more cuppage. Usually milk is added to enhance its taste.
